So after tracking down the one source file I’d forgotten,
I got my Linux version compatible with the XP and OSX versions.

Linux!!!!

After a week of trying to compile TGE under Fedora Linux, I finally took my friend Terry’s advice and just started over with Ubuntu. With more than a little help from the Garage Games forums, I managed to get Ubuntu installed and a working binary compiled in about three hours:

Cross-Platform, baby!

So after a couple of weeks out on the road, I’ve had a bit of time to continue hacking away at Torque. Today I got a Windows binary compiled including the mods I’d done to my Mac version, and successfully implemented basic deathmatch/FPS style gameplay.
